Today we worked on the grammar bytes websites doing whatever exercises we wanted. James, Jaycee and I all worked on them competing for the best percentages. It made it more amusing to be competing. I did Exercise 1 on Commas. This one wasn't bad but it did help me with some trouble concepts that i did not understand until i saw them used and placed in the right word context. On the comma exercise I got 80% . I did not know at first that if you correct your answer after ,you still get some points. For the next exercise I did Pronoun Case Exercise 1. This one was not so easy but again seeing how they work and do not work in a sentence helped to clear up some troubles that I was having.It was the use of "me" that I had the most problems with. The sentences just sounded strange with the word "me" in them. In the end I scored a 75% on this exercise. The fact that the website gave you the answer afterwards help a lot because now some of those rules and concepts are placed in my brain. For my last exercise I did the Word choice Exercise 1 using their, there, they're. I scored 95% on this one. I found it very easy to do. Some had little tricks to them but this one was a piece of cake. This website was a fun and easy way to visually learn and see how certain words and the use of grammar must be applied for the sentence to be as complete as possible.
